Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the heart of Budapest, the Danubius Grand Hotel Margitsziget offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments.
A heated underground corridor connects the accommodation to the neighbouring Danubius Health Spa Resort Margitsziget, which features one of Europe's top health spas.
A hot tub, 2 pools, and various saunas and beauty treatments can be enjoyed there. The diagnostic section features various therapeutic treatments. Guests can access the spa area free of charge.
The Széchenyi Restaurant offers fine dining with wonderful views of the park. Guests can enjoy free coffee and a croissant in the morning. The island stretches over 4 km and is protected leafy botanical parkland with ancient trees, a Japanese garden, and a rose garden, an open-air amphitheatre, traversed by strolling and jogging tracks. Bicycles, horses, carts and electric buggies can be hired to get around. It is only a 15-minute drive away from the centre of Budapest.
