The Hotel zum Hofmaler is situated in the Dutch quarter at the centre of the historical town of Potsdam, where history is alive.
Our building comprises a lovingly renovated Dutch house and a modern extension.
Through its central position, the accommodation presents the perfect starting point from which to discover by foot the numerous sights and attractions of the area, including of course the Prussian palaces and gardens.
HOTEL INFORMATION
This large Baroque Dutch-style building with 5 axes was built between 1740 and 1742. In about 1751 it was the residence of Wilhelm Bock, court painter of Frederick the Great and the man responsible, among others, for the construction of the Belvedere on the Klausberg.
