With a calm position in mature grounds, Lisnacurran B&B is situated between Belfast and Dublin, just off the A1 dual carriageway, near by a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs.
Lisnacurran Country House B&B has a quiet, relaxing position, set in attractive, tranquil grounds. Nevertheless, the B&B has a convenient position, with great access to the region’s major roads. The house is just off the A1 dual carriageway between Hillsborough & Dromore and just a few minutes from the main M1 motorway.
There is a comfortable guest lounge with a large TV and DVD player. A library of DVDs, books, board games and magazines are available for guests’ use. There is also a PC and fax machine available, an honesty box is left to cover any costs.
All rooms feature modern comforts and facilities, including Wi-Fi access and a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels.

Guests are encouraged to use the B&B entrance at the side of the house. All guests are given their own key for this entrance, allowing them to come and go as they please, accessing the building at any time.
Ironing facilities are available & free of charge. A clothes washing and drying service is also available, for a small additional charge.
For guests’ comfort, Lisnacurran is strictly non smoking throughout. However, guests are welcome to smoke outside, using the wall-mounted ashtray at the side entrance.
Cots, baby listening devices and high chairs are available on request.

AREA INFORMATION
Lisnacurran Country House is just 5mins’ drive from the famous & historic Georgian village of Hillsborough. Attractions in the village include Hillsborough Forest Park, Hillsborough Fort built in 1630 and Hillsborough Castle, a late 18th century mansion house situated in the heart of Hillsborough. The castle was the seat of the Hill family, who held the title of Marquis of Downshire. In 1922, the government bought the castle from the Hills and it became the home of the Governor of Northern Ireland. From 1972 until today, it has been the official residence of the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. Hillsborough Courthouse, which is based in the Square in Hillsborough, is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in Ireland. Here you will find the local Tourist Information Office.
Lisnacurran Country House is just 10mins’ drive from Lisburn. The Sprucefield shopping centre is 5 minutes away and the Bridgewater Outlet Shopping Park is just a 10minute drive away. Belfast is only 20 minutes’ drive, while Dublin is only 90mins away.
The great location and good access to the region’s major roads, make the Lisnacurran Country House a good base from which to explore the rest of the province.

By Car (from Hillsborough): - From Hillsborough, take the first road on the right after Bridge Commercials - Lisnacurran Country House B&B is the first house on the right-hand side.
By Car (from Dromore): - From Dromore, take the 2nd road on the left after Wilson Architectural Salvage Yard - Lisnacurran Country House B&B is the first house on the right-hand side.
Important information If you plan to arrive before 16:00 or after 21:00, you must telephone Lisnacurran Country House in advance. If you do not do this, entry may not be possible.
Pets are allowed in seperate out building at no extra charge.
