By Car
From the South:
- Leave the M6 at junction 36 and take the A591, bypassing Kendal.
- Follow this Lakeland route past Windermere to Ambleside.
- Turn left on to the A593.
- At Skelwith Bridge, turn right on to the B5343 and follow signs for Langdale.
From the North:
- Leave the M6 at junction 40.
- Take the A66 towards Keswick, then left via the B5322 on to the A591 via Grasmere to Ambleside.
