Originally built as a farmhouse in 1672, the Fieldhead is situated on the border of Charnwood Forest, just 7 miles from Leicester and 1 mile from Junction 22 of the M1.
Built from local stone, this delightful traditional inn was a working farm until the 1980s. Now, it has a warm restaurant, a bar and a terrace for guests to enjoy.
The seasonal menus offer a wide selection of modern and traditional British favourites, from hearty main courses to lighter snacks. A selection of real ales, carefully selected wines and special teas and coffees are also available.
The accommodation offers 28 comfortable en-suite rooms, each of which is individually beautifully decorated with its own unique charm. Guests can make use of free Wi-Fi in the accommodation rooms and in public areas of the building.

The Fieldhead Hotel originally a working farm until the early 1980''s when it was converted to a public house.
The building has maintained many of its original features giving it a warm and cosy atmosphere. The oldest parts of the Hotel date back as early as 1672 which now is used as one of our two conference rooms. The conference facilities that we offer can cater from one to one meetings, to anything up to 60 theatre style. We also have the equipment to meet all of your requirements and can offer either a working lunch or a full sit down meal in our beautiful restaurant. Our menus offer everything from sandwiches and lite bites to succulent steaks cooked to your liking. We are renowned for our helpful and friendly staff that would be more than happy to help you in reaching your requirements.
The Fieldhead is in easy reach of all major cities in the midlands and is only 1 mile from junction 22 of the M1 motorway. We are also within 7 miles of Leicester city centre which offers everybodies needs for shopping, nights out and more.
