The English Lake District has some of the most spectacular scenery and offers no shortage of things to do. Activities range from walking, cycling, sailing, climbing and water-skiing to hot air ballooning.
In addition to this, there are an array of attractions to visit including historic houses and gardens, castles and leisurely lake cruises, homes of famous literary figures such as Beatrix Potter''s Hilltop (6 km/ 3,7 miles), John Ruskin''s Brantwood on Coniston Water (10 km/ 6.2 miles) which was home of the art critic, writer and philosopher, and of course William Wordsworth''s homes can all be visited: Wordsworth House (0.2 km), Dove Cottage (0.2 km) and Rydal Mount (2 km).

From the North & North East, exit M6 at junction 40 (Penrith), take A66 west to Keswick, then south on A591 to Grasmere.
From South, exit M6 at junction 36 (Kendal), take A591 through Lakes to Grasmere
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 16 years are welcome.
Extra beds are not available.
There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
Deposit Policy: A fixed amount of GBP 100 per room will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: 17.5 % VAT is included.
