This award-winning Victorian guest house offers eye-catching sea and harbour views, just a few minutes’ stroll from Ilfracombe’s beach and town centre. The Collingdale Guest House offers an award-winning full English breakfast and free Wi-Fi in public areas.
Guests can relax in Collingdale’s lounge and watch TV or enjoy the picturesque scenic views from the window. The on-site bar features a good selection of beers, wines and spirits including malt whiskeys and fine brandies for guests to enjoy.
There is a gallery dining room, displaying original paintings by local artists, and serving freshly prepared home-cooked cuisine, using locally farmed produce. The dining room leads to the sun terrace overlooking the harbour.
The guest bedrooms are beautifully decorated using neutral colours and wooden furnishings. Most are equipped with an en-suite bathroom and they all feature a flat-screen TV, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Exmoor National Park is less than a 15-minute drive away and the Ilfracombe Golf Course is just over a mile from the guest house. The major A39 road, which runs into the centre of Cornwall, is less than 15 miles away.

Please advise at the time of booking if you would prefer a room on the lower floor and The Collingdale will endeavour to meet your request. For those happy to stay on a top floor, there are fantastic views.

This beautifully furnished family room has a double bed and a full size single bed with a pull-out 2 foot 6 inch wide bed, with quality duvets and soft furnishings. The room overlooks the front of the hotel and the wooded area beyond. This room is suitable for 2 adults and up to 2 children. When booking this room, please specify the number of adults and whether there are one or 2 children.

All 3 of the lovely king-size bed premier rooms are furnished to a high standard with quality pine and soft furnishings. The rooms have many original features such as marble fireplace, original plaster coving and sash windows. Bedrooms at the top of the hotel have vaulted ceilings and beams. All king-size bedrooms have stunning views of Ilfracombe harbour and Hillsborough Nature Reserve and across the sea to the Welsh coast beyond.
